How to register for the two account systems, and how XP, quests and levels add up

Accounts & XP Handbook

The site has two account systems, each running its own turf:

  • Main site account - register from "My Account" in the top right; it handles game XP, levels, check-ins, and the download station
  • Deliberate Vocabulary account - register separately at /english/login; it handles word books, study records, the mistake book, and badges

The two don't share logins, so register for each. You can enjoy most of the site without any account; game XP only starts accumulating once you're logged into the main site account.

Main site account: registration and login

The entry point is "My Account" in the top right of any page. Registration needs: a username (2-20 characters; letters, Chinese, digits, underscores, and hyphens all fine), a password (at least 6 characters), and an email (for password recovery). A slider human-verification runs during sign-up.

Forgot your password? Use "Forgot password" on the login page; the reset link goes to your registered email.

Deliberate Vocabulary account: registration and login

The entry point is /english/login. Register with an email and you're logged in automatically. Study progress, word books, and badges all follow this account, and stay intact when you sign in on another device.

Where XP comes from

XP comes from daily quests, claimed in My Account. Each action counts once per day and refreshes the next day:

Quest XP
Finish any mini-game 10
Download 1 file from the download station 5
Daily check-in 5 (+20 bonus on the day your streak hits a multiple of 7)
Generate speech once 5
Use an online tool once 5
Run one on-site search 3

Milestone quests: higher scores pay more

Beyond the daily actions, eleven games set single-run score thresholds; hit one and the XP is yours (also once per day):

Game Thresholds and XP
Snake 30 points in one run: 5 XP; 80 points: 10 XP
Sky Fighter 500 points: 5 XP; 1000 points: 10 XP
Endless Parkour 500 m: 10 XP; 1200 m: 10 XP
Escape the Teacher Survive 60 seconds: 5 XP
Memory Match 300 points in one run: 5 XP
Plinko 100 points in one run: 5 XP
Gomoku Win on Normal: 200 pts, 5 XP; win on Master: 500 pts, 10 XP
15 Puzzle Win on Normal: 200 pts, 5 XP; win on Hard: 300 pts, 10 XP
Go Win on Normal (13×13): 200 pts, 5 XP; win on Hard (19×19): 300 pts, 10 XP
Xiangqi Win on Normal: 200 pts, 5 XP; win on Hard: 300 pts, 10 XP
Luzhanqi Win on Normal: 200 pts, 5 XP; win on Hard: 300 pts, 10 XP

Do everything in a day and you cap out at 178 XP; the day your check-in streak reaches 7 adds its own bonus, lifting that day's cap to 198. Game thresholds judge your all-time best single run - once you break a record, you never need to re-earn the lower tiers.

How levels work

Levels come from cumulative XP, with rising thresholds: 30 XP reaches Lv.2, 90 reaches Lv.3, 180 reaches Lv.4, 300 reaches Lv.5, and from there each level adds 150, 180, 210, and so on. Levelling never resets anything, and XP only ever goes up.

Every level carries its own title, from "Apprentice Adventurer" at Lv.1 up to "Peak Legend" at Lv.20:

Level Title Level Title
1 Apprentice Adventurer 11 Stellar Voyager
2 Journeyman Adventurer 12 Skyvault Guardian
3 Adventurer 13 Spacetime Walker
4 Veteran Adventurer 14 Dimension Lord
5 Brave Hero 15 King of Myriad Forms
6 Elite Hero 16 Sovereign of the Firmament
7 Hero 17 Worldshaper
8 Legendary Hero 18 Eternal Legend
9 Epic Legend 19 Supreme Divinity
10 Mythic Master 20 Peak Legend

Your current title shows on your home page, with the next one waiting beside the level progress bar.

What else is on your home page

  • Daily check-in - your streak is tracked and displayed; miss a day and it restarts. Every full 7-day streak adds +20 XP on the final day
  • Daily fortune - one draw a day across five grades (great, good, fair, mild, humble luck) with a piece of advice. Pure fun; it never affects rewards
  • Game records - your best single run in each of the eleven games, kept on your home page

What about guests?

Play while logged out and your game results wait in a local queue in your own browser (the most recent runs are kept); register and log in, and they're sent automatically as XP. A day of play is never wasted.

Is Deliberate Vocabulary really separate?

Yes, fully. Its levels, study records, word books, and mistake book all live under its own account and never mix with main-site game XP; badges display separately at /english/badges. If you want both, register one of each.
